The annual Middlesex High School (MHS) homecoming parade is set for 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13. It was moved from a previous time slot due to windy, rainy weather.
The parade will start at the Middlesex County Historic Courthouse and proceed northwest on General Puller Highway (Route 17 Business) to MHS.Â
The road will be closed to regular vehicle traffic from the traffic light to MHS. Traffic will be detoured around the closed section.
Hundreds are expected to line General Puller Highway in Saluda to cheer the Chargers on.
The homecoming football game against Charles City is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 13 and will include the crowning of the 2023 MHS king and queen at halftime.
