Christmas seems a long ways away, but preparations for seasonal activities are not! Rehearsals for Christmas concerts by The Chesapeake Chorale will begin on Sept. 11, 7-9 p.m., at Church of the Nazarene, 57 Whisk Drive, White Stone.
Beginning on Sept. 18 and each Monday until mid-November, rehearsals will be offered at Grace Episcopal Church, 303 S. Main St., Kilmarnock, from 7 to 9 p.m.
There will be four Christmas concerts taking place on the first weekend in December, including one in Middlesex County.
The schedule includes:
- Dec. 1 — Northumberland High School, Heathsville, 8 p.m.
- Dec. 2 — Lancaster Elementary School (formerly the middle school, Kilmarnock). If construction is not complete, this concert will be offered at Church of the Nazarene, 8 p.m.
- Dec. 3 — St. Clare Walker Middle School, Locust Hill, 3 p.m.
- Dec. 4 — Historic Christ Church, Weems, 3:30 p.m.
