Julie T. Luffey, 57, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 7, 2023 at Memorial Regional Hospital in Richmond.
She was born on Dec. 4, 1965 in Riverdale, Md., to Aubrey and Priscilla Pilkerton.
She was a 1984 graduate of Middlesex High School, where she played basketball. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Amanda Weston and Andrew Luffey; grandchildren, Alexander Weston, Avery Weston and Callie Langford; many nieces and nephews; her father, Aubrey Pilkerton; sisters, Delores Daniel and Karen Pilkerton; brothers, Joseph Pilkerton and Thomas Pilkerton; and best buddy, Tammy Hock.
Services are planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 at Remlik Wesleyan Church
