Dennis Reed Bigger, 88, of Hartfield, a U.S. Navy veteran, passed away Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023 after a long illness.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Reed Bigger; mother, Hazel M. Bigger; a sister, Dorothy Eaton; mother-in-law, Rena A. Wray; daughter, Ruth Bias Thompson and grandson, James Keith Hall.
Surviving Dennis is his loving wife of 48 years, Rebecca “Becky” Bigger; daughters, Tammie Bigger Brown (Steve), Lori Bias Bell (Odell), Paula Bias Hall (Andrea); fur baby, Pepper Ann; and his closest friend, Mark Bragalone. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Kerry Parker (Lamar), Andrew Fochtmann (Heather), Katie Kenney (Matt), David Couch, Austin Bushong, Allison Bushong Murankus (Jaff) and Wesley R. Brown (Carleigh), as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life is planned for 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 at 128 Plum Drive, Hartfield.
