A new ministry has been started at Christ Church Parish (Episcopal) in Christchurch. Recently, its parishioners began a program to support the Episcopal Church Creation Care Project. They have started a garden on the church property.

Raised beds have been built. Plants are being cared for. Vegetables and flowers are being harvested and delivered. Monetary donations have provided great support.

In addition to the other benefits, this project will be a new way in which they hope to strengthen the bond between their parish and Christchurch School. When the Seahorse students return, in the fall, students will help to maintain this garden.

On July 2, parishioners conducted a dedication for this important ministry.
