Immanuel Baptist Church in Saluda will celebrate its annual motorcyclists blessing day event, which is set for 11 a.m. Sunday, July 16. Sister Amanda L. Holmes Billups of Immanuel Baptist Church will be the speaker.
Sister Billups is a graduate of Middlesex High School and is currently a sergeant with the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office. She received her master’s degree with high distinction from Liberty University in criminal justice with a concentration in forensic psychology. She is an 18-year Army reservist, Army veteran and is currently the company commander of the 8th BN 98th REGT Detachment in Richmond.
The event’s music will be under the direction of Brother Leon Harris.
