Second novel out for Topping’s Howell

David Brown Howell of Topping has released his second book, a historical novel entitled “Buried Dreamer.”

The setting is in 1847, where Samantha waits tables and serves grog at Logan’s Tavern in Campbeltown, Scotland. She joins the love of her life, the local Presbyterian minister on an ill-fated voyage to the New World.

The novel travels through time and inspired by Samantha’s activism in colonial days, her great-granddaughter picks up on it and uncovers a conspiracy near Charlottesville that threatened democracy in the United States in the 21st century.

Howell’s new book can be purchased at Marshall’s Drug Store in Urbanna, Nauti Nell’s store in Deltaville and from Amazon.
