“Above All,” “Great Is Thou Faithfulness,” and “Oceans” will be among the songs sung during COCAPRAW (Come One, Come All, Praise, Reflect, and Worship) at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 6, at Lower United Methodist Church in Hartfield.
Those attending the interdenominational event will join in a congregational chorus to sing 18 traditional and contemporary church music selections interspersed with brief Scriptural passages. Several area pastors will describe how the scriptures inspired the music.
The event is being organized by the family of the late Hartfield native Claudia Payne Robins Ryland, who died in April. Her grandson, Reed Willis, a recent graduate of Boston’s Berklee College of Music, will be the accompanist.
