The Bristow Community Pavilion at Taber Park in Urbanna is nearing completion and the Urbanna Business Association (UBA) will conduct an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1.
The pavilion has been constructed in honor of the late Charles and Betty Page Bristow, who during their lives were extremely dedicated to the betterment of the Town of Urbanna and Middlesex County.
UBA representative Anne Miller encourages the community to come out to see the new pavilion. Most of the funding for the pavilion has come from donations from within the local community.
Taber Park is off Rappahannock Avenue north of Bonner Street in Urbanna.
