Need something fun to do on July 1 and 2? Consider Hartfield’s 2023 Blue Crab Arts and Crafts Festival.
The festival will take place 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on the grounds of the Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club at 1860 Twiggs Ferry Road. This event features original, handcrafted works of art with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship. There will be 60 or more vendors, including food trucks, steamed crabs, arts, crafts and many other items for sale. There will be music, a beer/wine garden and great activities for people of all ages. In addition to good food and music, activities include free croquet lessons and games, free lawn bowling lessons and games, a professionally-run shooting gallery at the Middlesex Shooting Sports Club (MSSC) range next door and shopping for unique and interesting items at vendor booths.
