From staff reports

Saturday, June 3, marked the 74th commencement exercises conducted at Middlesex High School (MHS) in Saluda as the Class of 2023 walked across the stage in the John S. Clements Memorial Gymnasium to receive their diplomas.

The gym was packed with teachers, family, friends and neighbors attending the event in support of the 80 MHS graduates who have now started another phase of their journey in life.

MHS Principal Susan Fleet introduced the members of the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors in attendance and the school board members who were all in attendance.

She also recognized three members of the MCPS staff who are retiring this year. “Today, you become honorary members of the MHS Class of 2023,” said Fleet. “Thank you for all you have done for our children.”
