The Middlesex High School (MHS) boys track team won a five-team meet on Tuesday, May 9, at West Point High School as the Chargers scored 123 points to take the win.
Middlesex outscored West Point, which was the meet runner-up with 92 points; Northumberland, third, 64.50 points; Mathews, 59.50; and Grove Christian School, 3 points.
The Chargers will travel to Charles City High School today Thursday, May 18, to compete in the Tidewater District championship meet. The meet starts at 2:30 p.m.
Middlesex girls track squad also finishes on top at five-way meet
The Middlesex High School (MHS) Lady Chargers track team won a five-team meet at West Point High School on Tuesday, May 9, scoring 72 points.
Mathews was second as a team in the meet with 65 points; Northumberland, third, 59; Grove Christian School, fourth, 40; and West Point, fifth, 34 points.
The Lady Chargers will compete in the Tidewater District track meet at Charles City High School today, Thursday, May 18. The meet starts at 2:30 p.m.
