Fun abounds in downtown Urbanna this Saturday, May 13 as three big annual entertainment series launch their 2023 seasons.
The year’s inaugural Urbanna Farmers Market is set for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in Taber Park on Rappahannock Avenue at Bonner Street. The Urbanna Business Association-sponsored markets are scheduled to continue the second Saturday of every month through September.

Abbey Road the Ultimate Beatles Tribute Party Band is set to give a free concert 4-8 p.m. in Taber Park. This is number one in Urbanna’s Second Saturdays five-concert free series, which also runs through September.

The Waterview Bluegrass Band and others are set to offer a free concert at the Urbanna firehouse at 335 Virginia St. at 7 p.m. Donations may be made to the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Covered dish snacks will be shared.
