Middlesex track boys win quad meet

The Middlesex High School (MHS) boys track team defeated three teams on Thursday, April 27, in a home meet on the John Lemons Memorial Track at Saluda’s Syd Thrift Athletic Complex.

Middlesex was first with 98 points; Northumberland, second, 59 points; Essex, third, 33; and Carver Academy, fourth, 24 points.

The Chargers return to the friendly confines of John Lemons Memorial Track for a 4 p.m. meet today, Thursday, May 4, when they will take on Northumberland, Lancaster and Mathews.

MHS track girls also win meet

The Middlesex High School (MHS) girls track team won a home tri-meet Thursday, April 27, as the Lady Chargers scored 76 points to Northumberland’s, 59, and Essex’s, 33.

The Charger girls return to the friendly confines of John Lemons Memorial Track for a 4 p.m. meet today, Thursday, May 4, when they will take on Northumberland, Lancaster and Mathews.
