Pitching great too in 16-0 Charger girls shutout vs. Lancaster Red Devil girls at Syd Thrift complex
Middlesex High School’s (MHS) softball team picked up a commanding win over visiting Lancaster on March 24, blanking the Red Devil girls 16-0. The Lady Chargers’ Courtney Jessie pitched a gem, going five strong innings allowing just three hits and striking out four.
“It was a solid game by the girls across the board,” said MHS Assistant Coach Chucky Oliver. “Pitching was great, bats were hot and we were error free in the field. That’s a winning combination most of the time.”
