The Middlesex High School varsity Lady Charger soccer team started its season with a 5-4 overtime win at Northumberland on March 15.

The Lady Chargers were up 1-0 at halftime, and battled to 4-4 draw at the end of regulation. Middlesex scored in the first of the two overtime periods.

The Lady Chargers are deep with 21 girls making the team. “Some of them we are developing, and others are working or have earned starting spots already,” said Coach Gregory.

The Lady Chargers are at Northampton on Friday, March 31, at 5 p.m. The next home game is Wednesday, April 12, at 5:45 p.m. when West Point visits for action at Middlesex’s Bristow-Boxley Field.
