The Middlesex Charger varsity basketball team thanks the quick reacting patrons of the county for assistance in providing funds to charter a bus to the state quarterfinals in Lynchburg. The team fared well, but early on the 3-point shooting of the Altavista Colonels was a little too much for the Chargers to rebound from.
This year was a great starting point for good things to come. Funds were raised in a very short period to get a bus to transport the team…
