Middlesex hoop boys whip Windsor, 66-58

The Middlesex High School (MHS) varsity basketball team (11-2, 6-0) defeated Windsor, Friday, Jan. 13, 66-58, in a fast-moving, exciting game as the Chargers out scrapped the Dukes for the win.

MHS offensively was paced by JaQuan Griffin, Montrell Oakley and Ichi Layne, who were all in double figures. Griffin was high scorer with 16 points, Layne contributed 15 and Oakley had 14 points.

The Chargers played King William on Tuesday, Jan. 17, in a district matchup; travel to Carver and to Essex High School games Jan. 20 and 21, respectively.
