Wrestlers McMeechan, Graulich pace MHS

The Middlesex High School (MHS) wrestling team finished 2-3 at the Lancaster Duals Invitational meet on Friday, Dec. 23, during the Red Devils annual Christmas tourney.

The Chargers defeated Northumberland’s Indians, 66-12, and tied the Tabb High School Bengal Tigers, 42-42, but won on criteria points because the Chargers had more pins and fewer forfeits than the Bengal Tigers.

MHS was paced by Christian McMeechan and Erik Graulich who won all five of their matches in the tournament.

The Chargers took off for Christmas break. MHS resumed play against Northampton and Northumberland at Northampton on Wednesday, Jan. 4, and will continue their action on the road versus Windsor on Wednesday, Jan. 11…
