Christ Church Parish (Episcopal) invites the community to join them on Sunday, Jan. 8, at 5 p.m. when they will offer a Celtic service to start off the year. These services have been described as very inspirational.
For those who attend this service, remember that one of the key components of this service is silence before and during the service. Amidst the glow of flickering candles, beautiful instrumental music and quiet meditation one is able to let go of the stress of the past week and year and prepare for the next.
The musicians participating include “Strings And Things,” a string quartet made up of Peggy Watson, Emily Wiehrs, Christina Johnson and Nina Buzby.
“We’re looking forward to their musical contributions to this quiet and reflective evening service and hope that you all can join us and bring a friend,” a Christ Church spokesman said.
Christ Church is located at 56 Christchurch Lane in Christchurch.
