The Middlesex High School (MHS) wrestling team competed well in two invitationals recently as Charger grapplers won individual honors in both meets.

On Saturday, Dec. 3, MHS competed in the Caroline Invitational meet at Caroline High School in Milford. MHS had five wrestlers to place in the meet — Elliott Austin was the only Charger to win first place honors. Austin won top honors in the 190-pound division competition.

On Saturday, Dec. 10, the Chargers traveled to the Cosby Invitational wrestling at Cosby High School in Midlothian. Rowan Anderson finished the highest for MHS in that meet as he captured a second place finish in the 157-weight class.

The Chargers had a home meet on Wednesday, Dec. 14, against Westmoreland and Franklin high schools and MHS travels to Lancaster High School on Saturday, Dec. 17, to compete in the Lancaster Duals.
