The Middlesex High School (MHS) varsity Lady Chargers have a new head coach this year. Michael Lewis Sr. has moved to the helm after years as an assistant basketball coach. MHS School Councilor Felicia Marsh, a former Lady Charger basketball player, will be the assistant coach.

The Lady Chargers have six returning players, including co-captains senior Skyler Landon and junior Geriyah Cooke. Also returning are junior JaVonya Chandler, junior Triniti Muse, sophomore Zikirah Morris, and sophomore Kayleigh Moye. New players include senior Candiss Carter and Nai’ja Cooke.

“It’s a good group,” said Coach Lewis. “I’m pleased with their overall work ethic.”
