The Middlesex High Lady Chargers volleyball team is headed back to the Class 1 state tournament after defeating visiting Northampton in five sets on Nov. 3 in the semifinals of the Region 1A Tournament 28-26, 25-15, 30-32, 22-25, and 15-13.
On Nov. 7, the Lady Chargers lost at Rappahannock. However, as Region 1A runner-up, Middlesex will travel to play Region B champs Rappahannock County in the first round of the state tournament on Nov. 12.
