Middlesex High School’s (MHS) Makayla Moore was the top finisher for the Charger girls participating in the Nov. 3 regional girls cross country meet at Newport News Park. She finished 17th out of the 40 runners competing in the meet with a time of 24 minutes and 57 seconds. The next fastest Charger girls were Sophia Koontz, who finished 19th with a 25:30 time and Elsie Koontz, who finished 20th with a 25:32 time.
