The Middlesex High School (MHS) varsity football team ended its 2022-2023 gridiron season Thursday night with a 14-7 loss to the John Marshall High School Justices.
The Chargers defense held and stopped the 2-point conversion attempt and the first half ended with John Marshall ahead with a 6-0 score.
Middlesex took the lead in the third quarter when Jayden Kidd burst through the line and scored on a 35-yard touchdown run. Glasco put the Chargers on top 7-6 with a good extra point kick.
With just 18 seconds left in the third quarter, the Justices scored again on a two-yard run and made good on the 2-point conversion to make the score 14-7.
