Scores of children participated in Harmony Grove Baptist Church’s third annual Trunk or Treat event Saturday evening. A flyer promoting the event read “Join us for a fun time,” and the many smiling youngsters on hand seemed to indicate it was an enjoyable experience for them. The children wore Halloween costumes as they made their rounds with their adult escorts past a line of about a dozen open automobile trunks overflowing with just about every kind of candy imaginable. Each trunk was staffed by two adults who also wore Halloween costumes.
