Middlesex County residents know that one of the many functions of the Cryer Center/Hands Across Middlesex is to serve as a collection depot for donated items, including used clothing that is in good condition. At the October General Board meeting of Hands Across Middlesex, the coordinator of the Clothing Closet, Germaine Hayes, reported that there is a need for volunteers to help sort and hang donated items.
Volunteer hours are flexible, allowing you to pick the day, time, and length of time you wish to work. If you and a friend or two, or a few people from your organization or church, would like to volunteer together, this would be a great benefit to the program that helps so many in Middlesex.
