An autumn gala fashion show was presented Saturday on the grounds of historic Lansdowne (circa 1740) in Urbanna celebrating Andrea Pinter’s fashions of “wearable, practical and stylish” clothing.
The show featured Pinter’s new luxury leather collection, some of her art work and several hundred people attended the invitation-only event. Originally from Hungary, she and her husband Balazs and their two sons make their home in Urbanna and have been apart of the community since arriving to the United States many years ago.
Lansdowne owner A.B. Gravatt, one of the sponsors of the show, said on Sunday at a town political event, also at Lansdowne, that the show was “fantastic” and it met the goals of his late wife, Diane Gravatt, who desired that the public enjoy the old colonial home and grounds.
Former mayor of Urbanna Diane Gravatt passed away in May 2021. She and her husband had lovingly restored the home to today’s grandeur…
