Glenn Emory Priddy, 79, died on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022.
He was born in Eltham on July 10, 1943 and was the owner of Port Richmond Motor Service in West Point.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Edna Taylor Priddy; his sisters, Gloria Polk, Sandra Perry, and Paula Priddy; his father and mother in-law, Hubert and Josephine Major; and his sister-in-law, Deborah Mitchem.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 51 years, Katherine “Kitty” Priddy of Saluda; daughter Katherine Lee Priddy and her husband William Richard Moore Jr. of King George; grandchildren William Richard Moore III and Josephine Elizabeth Moore; brother, Ted Adair Priddy and his wife, Renee Taylor Priddy of Chester; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews; and countless friends that he considered family.
A graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 at Harmony Grove Church Cemetery, 7662 General Puller Highway, Topping. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Middlesex County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 98 Deltaville, VA 23049 and the Richmond Fisher House, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, VA 23249.
