John Charles “J.C.” Bryant passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022.
J.C. was born July 15, 1943 in Richmond.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pembroke S. Bryant and Mary Bryant Wells; and his sister, Jacquelyn Bryant Sullivan.
He is survived by his brother, Pembroke S. Bryant III; and several nephews and a niece.
J.C. graduated from John Marshall High School in 1962 and served honorably in the United States Navy.
He was the owner of Motorvation LLC, an automotive wholesale company.
J.C. pwas a member of the “Parties of the First Part,” a Richmond group well-known for hosting some of the most memorable Christmas “Parties of the Second Part” in Richmond for more than 40 years.
He was a life member of the Virginia Ski Club and organized many events and trips. He enjoyed spending time with friends and boating on the waters near his home in Deltaville.
Per J.C., there will not be a formal service. Instead, we will remember our loving J.C. during a celebration of life party for his friends and family at a date to be announced later.
