Charger girls look sharp as mid-season volleyball arrives

At mid-season, the Middlesex High School volleyball team is 7-2. Last week, the Charger girls defeated West Point and Charles City, but lost to the powerful Rappahannock Raider girls for the second time this season.

On Sept. 22, the Lady Chargers swept West Point in three games, 25-17, 25-11 and 25-19.

On Sept. 19, Rappahannock defeated the visiting Lady Chargers in three sets.

On Sept. 20, the Lady Chargers dominated Charles City, winning in three sets.

The Lady Chargers play at King William, Thursday, Sept. 29.

The varsity only hosts Carver Academy on Oct. 4. at 6 p.m. and on Thursday, Oct. 6, the Middlesex varsity and JV host King & Queen Central.
