The Middlesex High School golf team (8-3) won the Tidewater District tournament on Monday at the Queenfield Golf Course in King William. Also competing were Mathews and West Point.

Middlesex fired a team score of 347 to best King William’s 355. The win avenges the Chargers’ two losses in the regular season to King William, which is a double A school.

Mathews shot a 405 and West Point tallied a 464.
