Charger girls get consecutive wins over King William, Carver Academy, Lancaster, King & Queen Central and Mathews

The Middlesex High School varsity volleyball team is 6-1 after recent wins over King William, Carver Academy, Lancaster, King & Queen Central and Mathews.
On Sept. 6, the Lady Chargers defeated visiting King William in four sets. After losing the first game in overtime 24-26, the Lady Chargers rallied with convincing scores of 25-15, 25-17 and 25-18 to defeat Double A King William.
On Sept. 8, Middlesex swept host Carver in three straight.
On Sept. 12, visiting Middlesex defeated Lancaster in three sets, but were tested.
Middlesex took the match with an overtime win in the first set 26-24 and followed that up with wins of 25-22 and 25-20.
On Sept. 13 at King & Queen Central the Lady Chargers cruised to a win over the Royal Tiger girls with scores of 25-15, 25-15 and 25-14.
On Sept. 15, Middlesex swept visiting Mathews in three sets.
