All Middlesex registered voters set to receive new voter cards this week

All registered voters in Middlesex County will be mailed new voter cards this week, reported Middlesex County Director of Elections and General Registrar Melissa D. Welch.
Following redistricting changes, these cards will notify the voter of the numerical Virginia Senate and Virginia House of Delegates changes and any local polling place changes.
The first day of in-person early voting at the Middlesex County Elections Office is Friday, Sept. 23. The office is located at 105 Bowden St. in Saluda. Voters do not need to give a reason for wanting to vote early.
The deadline to register to vote or update an existing registration is Oct. 17.
