The next Family Movie Night at Saluda Baptist Church is set for Friday, Sept. 30.
“Join us at 6:30 p.m. for free pizza, popcorn, snacks, drinks and a movie,” said a spokesman for the event.

“War Room” will be the featured movie.

A group from Zion Branch Baptist Church, 224 Zion Branch Road, Saluda, will be traveling to Chatham on Sunday, Sept. 25, to Lifeline Gospel Church for its homecoming service, where dinner will be served.

Immanuel Baptist Church in Saluda will celebrate its annual Men’s Day at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25. The former pastor, the Rev. Calvin Rideau, will deliver The Preached Word. Music is under the direction of Brother Leon Harris. Dinner will be provided and served by The Immanuel Women.

Zoar Baptist Church (ZBC) launched the 2022-2023 Bible study year on Sunday, Sept. 11 with an open house. Newcomers and regulars celebrated the opening of this year’s Bible studies by sharing in a fellowship breakfast. Four adult classes were introduced that meet each Sunday morning at ZBC. Class members will study the Old Testament books of Amos, Jonah, Hosea and Micah through Nov. 27 each Sunday morning at ZBC, 17097 General Puller Highway, in Deltaville.

New students are welcome to try a class on Sundays.

The string quartet from “Strings and Things” will be in concert at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9 at Urbanna Baptist Church. This is another free concert in the ongoing series sponsored by the Richardson Trust. All are welcome.
