The Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society (VAHS) Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck regional chapter’s monthly luncheon meeting is set for 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Pilot House restaurant.

The meeting will feature Deltaville’s David Clarke Peele, who retired with 4,000 fighter jet hours in the F-4, F-5 Aggressors and F-15 aircraft. Peele served as an Aggressor pilot from 1979-1984, stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada and Clark Air Base in the Philippines. Aggressors were American fighter pilots flying Russian MiG tactics against U.S. fighter forces to better prepare them for combat.

Everyone interested in aviation is invited to join the members at the Pilot House, which is at 2737 Greys Point Road (Route 3) in Topping, adjacent to Hummel Field airport.
