The Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM) and Holly Point Nature Park will present its annual members meeting this Saturday, Sept. 10, from 4-5 p.m. in the DMM events pavilion. As at all annual museum meetings, the public is welcome. The pavilion is located near the waterfront on the maritime park property at 287 Jackson Creek Road in Deltaville.
Whether a member or not, all those interested in the progress of, plans for, and health of, the museum should make a point of attending. The development and improvement of the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park are a part of the heart of our community and benefit us all.
A presentation showing a “walk through” of the new exhibit’s center and pavilions will be on view during the proceedings, and the boat shop will be open for folks to look at the current progress on the new Hull 104.
