Due to a funeral on Saturday, the “Fifty-five and Older” gathering for seniors has been moved from 1 to 4 p.m. to 3 to 6 p.m., said Middlesex County Parks and Recreation (MCPR) Director Karen Reed.
The event will take place at the Tom Carter Memorial Gymnasium behind the Cooks Corner Office Complex at Cooks Corner. It is sponsored by MCPR and will feature games, fellowship, food and door prizes for seniors.

The Middlesex County Parks and Recreation Department, Game Changers and Creative Productions are sponsoring a “Fifty-five & Older” gathering on Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Tom Carter Memorial Gymnasium behind the Cooks Corner Office Complex at Cooks Corner.
Everyone 55 and older is invited to the gathering from 1 to 4 p.m. It will feature an afternoon of games, fellowship, food and door prizes. There is a $10 charge that will go towards the expense of the event and towards presenting other gatherings for seniors. Organizers are asking that the money be paid no later than by Sept. 6.
