On Aug. 29 Middlesex defeated Mathews 184-207. Middlesex’s Peyton Lambert carded the match low score — a 41 for the nine-hole match at the Piankatank River Golf Club (PRGC) in Hartfield.
Mathew’s low score was 45 by Thomas Hubbard.
Charger Garrison Robins shot a 45, while teammate Hudson McMinn shot a 48, and sophomore Abel Crader had a 50 to round out the top four scores. (Only the best four scores count.)
On Aug. 31 Middlesex defeated West Point 171-234 as Lambert shot another match low score 38 and Garrison Robins followed with a 40 for the 9-hole match at PRGC.
Rounding out the top four for Middlesex were Nielson McMinn with a 45, and Hudson McMinn with a 48. Abel Crader shot a 50 and Caleb Jackson finished with a 63.
