Although in many areas of the U.S. COVID-19 cases have stabilized, official word came through today, Friday, Sept. 2, that cases in Middlesex County are moving upward.
Middlesex County is, as of this week, registering HIGH COVID-19 levels, according to a news release from the Three Rivers Health District, which includes Middlesex. (Middlesex’s neighbors in Three Rivers are mostly all at low or medium levels.)
If you live in an area of HIGH community COVID-19 levels — such as Middlesex County — the Centers for Disease Control recommends that you:
- Wear a mask indoors in public and on public transportation.
- Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines.
- Get tested if you have symptoms.
- If you are at high risk for severe illness, consider taking additional precautions.
