Well August is here and hopefully we will see a turning down of the heat as we at DMM present our Holly Point Market featuring 30-plus vendors. The market is set for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, followed by a 5-8 p.m. Groovin’ in the Park concert. Also on Aug. 27, the museum opens an hour early with donation only admission just for the market.

The full bar is open featuring bloody Marys and mimosas. Come by and say, “Hi!”
With gates opening at 4 p.m., the dynamic duo of “Stones Throw” takes the stage at 5 p.m. opening for that heavy reggae backbeat of the award-winning band, “Stuck On A Name,” taking you back to the islands! The tea house will be open with hot food and full bar until it’s reggae time. And yes, there will be rum.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate for all remaining Groovin’ shows. Children younger than 12 are admitted for free.
