With the year’s final 20th anniversary reception happening at the Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM) and Holly Point Nature Park, it will be an all-day affair this Saturday, July 23, at the maritime park.
Not only will the Holly Point Market be starting at 9 a.m., but there’ll be live music in the waterfront park, donation-only admission to DMM, workboat tours on the pier, model trains in the children’s garden, egg sandwiches at the tea house and food on the waterfront. The market runs 9 a.m.-1 p.m. You can get breakfast sandwiches at 9 a.m., check out the pierwalk exhibits at 10 a.m., go on deadrise cruises at 10 a.m., enjoy the Groovin’ in the Park concert’s 14th anniversary show and the museum’s 20th anniversary reception at 4 p.m. Steve Bassett Band takes the waterfront stage at 6 p.m. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and there will be enough cake for 200 people.
