The Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association hosted its annual Golf Invitational on June 23 at Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield. The theme this year was “A Flamingo Fling.”
Ninety-two women from the surrounding area participated in this festive event.
Co-chairmen Carol Sennott and Julie Whitaker did an outstanding job in making this tournament a hit. Despite the rainy conditions, the women golfers persevered the elements and enjoyed an excellent luncheon following play.
