The Deltaville Deltas offense stayed hot last weekend, scoring 29 runs across a pair of victories over the Richmond Trash Pandas and the Tappahannock Tides. With the wins, Deltaville moves to 6-2 on the season, holding a one-and-a-half game lead over the Richmond River Dogs in the Richmond NABA East Division, while sitting a game back of the west division leaders, the 5-1 Richmond Brewers.

Deltaville returns to home action Saturday night for its annual Independence Day celebration game. Once again, the Chesapeake Sharks of the Hampton Roads NABA will return to the ballpark, taking on the Deltas at a 7:30 p.m. game. The home matchup is sandwiched between a pair of road games, with the Deltas traveling to Richmond to take on the Trash Pandas Wednesday, June 29, and the Richmond El Heaters on Tuesday, July 5.
