There will be “big doings” at the Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM) and Holly Point Nature Park this Saturday, June 25.
Not only will the 17th annual Family Boatbuilding Week (FBW) offer its Great Skiff Race and trophy presentation, there’ll be live music in the waterfront park, a vintage car show, workboat tours on the pier, model trains in the children’s garden, egg sandwiches at the tea house, food on the waterfront and the Holly Point Market starts at 9 a.m. as the museum opens.
Come back to the park around 4 p.m. as the gates open for a wonderful evening of music as “Groovin’ in the Park” brings the road trip music of Sincerely, Iris opening at 5 p.m. for the fabulous “Taters” four-part harmonies and everything from the Everly Brothers to the Beatles, some originals and a little bit of everything.
