It’s the fall of Richmond as El Heaters, River Dogs succumb to Deltaville

A week after suffering their first season opening loss in more than six years, the Deltaville Deltas rebounded to sweep both games of this past weekend’s series. The Deltas took down the defending league champions, Richmond El Heaters, by the score of 10-1 on Saturday night in Deltaville, and pulled away late to defeat the Richmond River Dogs, 19-10, on Sunday afternoon in Chesterfield.

With the wins, Deltaville improves its record to 2-1 on the young season.

Deltaville returns to action with just one game this weekend, a home matchup with the Richmond Avalanche on Saturday night at Deltaville Ballpark. First pitch…
