The service will be offered in the Bethpage amphitheater at 9 a.m. If the weather does not allow outdoor worship, the service will be moved to the Bethpage rally center.
A Middlesex County-based praise and worship band, Jubal, will provide music.

The Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) of Urbanna Baptist Church (UBC) will host a household items sale to benefit mission outreach from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 4, on the grounds of the UBC Mission House at 131 Watling St. in Urbanna. (It is next door to UBC.) “Don’t hesitate to come early!” said a WMU rep.
There will be a large variety of items, including housewares, yard goods and clothing. All items are in good repair. Donations will be accepted and 100% will be used to support Operation Christmas Child and HOPE for Appalachia.

A bluegrass gospel music concert fundraiser for New Hope Memorial Baptist Church in Shacklefords is coming up. It features Mechanicsville-based Solid Rock and is intended to help with rebuilding New Hope, which was destroyed in a fire. The concert is set for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at Saluda Baptist Church.
All donations collected that day will go toward this cause. If you would like to donate and cannot attend the concert, you may send a check to New Hope Memorial Baptist Church, 17623 New Hope Road, Shacklefords, VA 23156. Designate “building fund” on the memo line of check.
