Come on out and join the crew at Saluda Baptist Church for their free monthly movie night fun, set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 27, at 960 General Puller Highway. This month’s featured movie is “Decision,” a compelling story of a family in despair.

Rediscovering their faith is the first step in their journey to find hope and peace. This drama was produced by the same producers of “What Would Jesus Do?”
Bring the whole family and enjoy a movie, pizza, popcorn, snacks and drinks — all free of charge!

More than 12 million people are believed to have fled their homes in Ukraine since the conflict with Russia began, according to the United Nations. The Ukrainians need help and Middlesex County residents can do their part.

Please attend the special benefit concert set for 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, in the sanctuary of Urbanna United Methodist Church at 221 Marston Ave. in Urbanna. The concert will feature music by the Christian band Jubal, George Robinson, and the Gospel Robins and Beth Justice.

The Men’s Ministry of Make-A-Way and Deliverance Full Gospel Church at 100 Flats Road in Urbanna will host a motorcycle and car blessing event at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 11. Come on out and enjoy yourselves and be a blessing to the Lord.
On June 12, the Men’s Ministry will host its Men’s Day event. The morning preacher at 11 a.m. will be Apostle Dr. Jesse Ransom and the afternoon preacher at 3 p.m. will be Pastor Jonathan Mercer from St. Johns Baptist Church in Tappahannock.

A special bluegrass concert is set for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at Saluda Baptist Church at 960 General Puller Highway in Saluda. It will feature the band Solid Rock.
Admission is free, but love offerings will be accepted to help rebuild New Hope Memorial Baptist Church in Shacklefords, one of three area churches destroyed last year in unexplained fires.
