At a recent meeting, the Middlesex County Kiwanis Club presented its 2022 Teenager of the Year Award to Middlesex High School (MHS) senior Virginia Reinhardt.
The Teenager of the Year award recognizes and celebrates teens who have shown that they are dedicated to the Kiwanis mission of “improving the world one child and one community at a time.”
Virginia has been a member of the MHS tennis team, Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) and Key Club, her entire high school career. She was inducted into the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society the first year she was eligible for those recognitions. She has also been selected as the Kiwanis Capital District, Division 12 Teenager of the Year. Division 12 includes clubs in Gloucester, Grafton, New Kent, Northern Neck, Poquoson, Toano, and Williamsburg.
