The deadline for the advance ticket pricing for the May 6, 5-9 p.m., 15th Shrimp and Barbecue Dinner and Dance at the Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM) is coming up this Saturday, April 30.
Tickets for the dinner and dance are currently $35, but will increase to $40 starting Sunday, May 1, and at the door. Advance tickets are available through the museum office, website, or Nauti Nell’s store in Deltaville. Advance reservations can be made by calling the museum office at 804-776-7200. Prepaid tickets not picked up will be held as “will call” at the gate on the afternoon of the dinner or at the museum office till 4 p.m.
Advance tickets are limited to 200. As of this writing, there are only 60 left, so get yours now.
Everybody’s favorite “get up and dance” band, the four-part harmonies of the fabulous “Taters,” will be rocking the pavilion stage and then it’s dance, dance, dance.
The menu for the buffet will be steamed shrimp, lightly spiced, Eastern Carolina-style barbecue, cole slaw, Southern-style string beans and potatoes, Oreo and chocolate chip cookies, bottled water and extra-sweetened sweet tea. There will be a cash bar…
